How do I take care of my new toy?

Little to no care is necessary. When it gets dropped in a mud puddle wash with a mild soap and water, dry and good as new!
If you find that over time you wish your wooden toy had more of that “new toy shine,” our wax polish is easy to use and will restore it to its previous glory.

What kind of stains do you use?

NONE.  The color of the wood is completely natural.  

Are your wooden toys safe?

Of course! Our toys are sanded smooth and free of splinters and will remain that way in your child’s hands, we only use woods that resist splintering.
All items are free of stains, dyes, and VOCs. The only byproduct of our shop is good clean sawdust.  If you have specific questions please contact us.

What is FSC?

The short answer is Forest Stewardship Council.  They make sure companies are using sustainable harvesting practices.  For the long answer visit their website: http://www.fsc.org/ 

What if I’m sending a gift?

Lucky them! Just let us know at check out and we can personalize a note.  Gift wrap also available upon request free of charge.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit cards and paypal. If you would like to pay with a check by mail please contact us.  All transactions are conducted in US dollars.

Do you accept custom orders or offer unfinished toys?

Yes! Please contact us for special orders.  Why would we offer unfinished toys?  because beeswax is not vegan and we respect every way of living.

What are your shipping policies?

A variety of shipping options are available at check out, including rush and international shipping (international choices only show up at check out). Most orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy.  We especially want you to be happy with our products.  Any new product may be returned within 2 weeks for any reason, you will be refunded your purchase amount, less shipping, upon receipt of the product.  If your product is damaged in anyway we will either repair or replace it.  Please contact us (contact@sevenacretoys.com) before mailing anything.

How will you use my information?

We will use your billing information to process your order. We will use your address to send your order to you.
We will use your email to confirm your order, and if (and only if) you would like, send you updates from Seven Acre Toys. No one else will see your Info. Period.
